Blue-Chip Dollar Store
In case you haven't heard, Citigroup, the falling empire of the heralded Sanford I. Weill has hit 99c a share. While the banter seems to be circling around the big C, they do not sit lonesome in the realm of big companies with not so big price tags. The Big Picture posted a list of other Blue Chip bargains (maybe not such a bargain in terms of value, though). Among the penny stocks include AIG, E*Trade, Fannie, Freddie, and UniSys. A whole bunch more a listed in the 1-3 dollar range, and technicals have not indicated a bottom.
