Cartastrophe!

In case you haven't noticed, there is a legitimate problem with the car industry as a whole. Not only are the Detroit dynasties dying slow deaths, but purchases are grinding to a halt. These graphs have been floating around for about a year. In a business of such fixed costs (especially in America), variables can't move around with the amount of volatility they are moving with now. The model just doesn't support it, especially from the lending side.
