An Options Play For the Obama Era

There has been much talk about Organized Labor since the election of President Obama. Much of this talk centers on the Card Check legislation currently lobbied for by the Labor Unions. The policy is an attempt to dismiss voting by secret ballot when forming a union. Recently, unions have been lobbying the Treasury Dept. in order to combat opposition from large Institutions taking money from TARP.

Yesterday Citi downgraded Wallmart to "hold" from "buy" (WMT) due to the pending labor legislation. The next couple of months will provide a great environment for an options play.
